Saving Kenya’s Street Children

The documentary “Saving Kenya’s Street Children”, by Aidan Hartley, is a testimony of the great work done by one of our partners in Kenya. The Restart Africa Center provide refuge to children in vulnerable situation, orphaned and children drive out of their homes, children at high risk of falling victim of hunger, violence, sexual abuse and drugs whilst living on the streets.

This testimony provoke on us a mix of feelings, sadness and a sense of helplessness seeing the injustice and vulnerability of those children living in the streets. But it has also a strong message of hope that not all is lost, that there is still people carrying about these children and protect and do something for them. Thanks to the great work done by Sanchat, as well as other organisations working on the field, there is still chance for them… For all us to live in a better World.

We are proud of having such an amazing partner and to be able through our work to support some of the mothers living in Gilgil (Kenya), who having a regular job in safe working conditions can take care of their children and keep them at home, out of the streets.
