Silk Collection Launching

We are proud to announce the next launching of our Silk Collection. Finally online, for you to see it, to order it and to get it easily at home.

Our silk collection is produced in Cambodia, by a group of women, constituted as a social enterprise to support the empowerment and reintegration of women victims of trafficking, sexual exploitation, physical abuses and in general women in precarious situations, helping them to reach economical independence.

Many of these women have become the main income generators of their families and they are even given the chance to bring their small children to the workshop and leave them under care in the kindergarten run by the project.

The silk used in this collection has been naturally dye, that is, no chemicals were used in their production, only vegetable dyes from plant sources and other organic sources.

Our relationship with Cambodia goes back to 2003, when our founder, Ana Chico moved there to start up a workshop where women in precarious situation, mainly women victims of trafficking and sexual exploitation, could find a job opportunity in a secure and dignified working environment. The workshop developed into a social enterprise where more than 100 women have found, along the years, a space where they have been trained, empowered and that gave them the chance to change the course of their lives.

The Silk Collection consists mainly of handmade necklaces of vivid colors, shapes and styles that will not leave you indifferent. One of the essential pieces in this collection is the Long Silk Necklace. This is a simple, but at the same time a very elegant and sophisticate necklace. Available in any color you can wish, you can wear them in different lengths, wear it loose, long, short, double, triple... Choose your favourite color and leave your imagination fly.

If you go for a more conventional style, you can choose our Pearl Silk Necklace, to be worn very short or a bit longer, with an adjustable knot closing. You can also choose it in few color combinations.
